Zaryab started playing tennis when he was 5 years old. Later on he began competing at the national level in Juniors Under 14 and Under 18 back home in Pakistan. During that time he became Pakistan Number 1 ranked player and was able to retain the title for 2 years consecutively.
Zaryab's Men's highest ranking in Pakistan was 9th. He played for his college and university teams all over Pakistan. He remained the captain of his university team for four years.
Zaryab has a degree in Sports Science. He also obtained Tennis ITF Level 1 qualification and Padel Tennis PCR Level 2 qualification. He has been working as a coach for the past 6 years in Pakistan and now in Dubai.
