Shakir began playing tennis at 13 years old. As a professional tennis player, he has competed on the national circuit and won several provincial gold medals over the course of 10 years. In Under-18, he achieved a high rank of #3 in Pakistan and a high rank of #13 in Men's.
He graduated with a bachelor's of Arts Health & physical Education Activity at the University of Peshawar. Shakir recently completed his ITF Level 1 Coaching Certification which developed his passion for teaching tennis.
